A Google search for "Winter Soldier" will indicate why Kerry citing his Vietnam service is not necessarily a good idea for his Presidential aspirations. The "decorated" part will also dredge up why he threw all of his medals into the Potomac in some grand war protest statement...only to have it turn out that they were actually someone else's.

Kerry is in fact, one of those leftists - probably a communist - who would even still challenge that anti-communism was what that war was always about, no less the honor of those who served there. Including even himself.

This part of the war goes on and on. I'd also like to know when was the last time Kerry had any truck with Jane Fonda, Shirley McLaine, Noam Chomsky, Tom Hayden.... Any of the old Hanoi Treason masters.

Isn't there some history regarding his medals? Didn't he give them up in protest to the Viet Nam war? Why is he bringing up his service record as a major reason to vote for him? And then there's his brother.

He's toast if he runs. You are the only one I have ever heard compliment him in this manner. I know many beltway democrats who think a Kerry run is a bad-case scenario, probably Dukakis II.

It's between Gore and John Edwards. End of story. One of those two will get the nomination.

Didn't she inherit all her money from her Heintz hubby? Now she's funding her new hubby's presidental run?

Wasn't Kerry going bankrupt at the time he married her? I could never find anything in the news about this (how typical) but I remember when they got married there were rumors floating around Boston claiming he was a gold-digger.

I have always worried about a Kerry presidential bid. He has a lot of Hollywood connections and seems almost seems Kennedy-esque. The media will no doubt be very Kerry-friendly.

Actually, he went to Hollywerid to raise money and didn't do all that well. Hey, he's got the big hair, and is a liberal. I guess that's all it takes to run for prez.

Works for Al Sharpton too. Maybe they both go to the same beauty parlor?

...and perhaps Lili Munster can be Vice president and Grandpa Munster can be secretary of state.

...almost seems Kennedy-esque.

I don't see it but that's exactly the illusion he is trying to promote...why he sent memos to everybody stating that henceforth..he wanted to be referred to as John F. Kerry.

This man is 100% politician.....right down to his bone marrow. Luckily...his chances are slim and none.

On Oct. 2, 2000, John Kerry attended the First Monday gun control rally at the Mass. Statehouse where he championed a number of gun control proposals.  He felt right at home at this rally.

Here is a picture of Kerry shaking the hand of an extremist with a sign reading, "Guns Don't Kill, Gun Owners Kill".

Here's another...

I have the video of this event and will share it with any gun rights organizations that really want to expose Kerry and his gun banning friends.

Kerry — whose middle name is Forbes — happens to share the same initials and
a background of heroic military service with that president, John Fitzgerald
Kennedy.

In the four decades since Kennedy served, Democrats have turned to another part
of the country — the South — to find winning presidential candidates.

John Kerry is NO JFK ala Kennedy.........

"Kerry says surviving hazardous military service "frees you to let the chips fall where they may." What's so hazardous about killing women and children? Care to comment Mr. Kerry?
