The D.C. police officer who spoke with us asked if we were the ones at the White House on Saturdays during the Clinton years. We told him that was us and he laughed, saying, "You guys are alright!" That's the sort of thing that does a heart good. Evidence you'll never have any idea how many you affect.
I'm with Hitchens ... the whole event's unseemly as Hell.
I am sure that the police LOVED everything that the DC Freepers did over the Clinton years. Freepers could do and say what they were not allowed to....even though many of them knew all about the Clintons and what was going on..... on many levels.
