People in the "anti globalization" movement don't see the irony.
Last week in Washington DC, a protest against the World Bank was joined by an anti-war march, as well as one against Israel. In the end, 65,000 merged in "the largest Palestinian solidarity demonstration in US history."
It seems that if you are anti-globalization, you are automatically anti-war, anti-World Bank, and anti-Israel.
But wait a minute. Last week, in Cyprus, the same World Bank cobbled together $1.2 billion dollars for the embattled Palestinian Authority. This is in addition to the $4.7 billion the World Bank has already provided to the Palestinians since 1993. The United States committed $300 million to the latest package. They estimate it will take only six months to repair the damage.
"There are no conditions in our approach to the Palestinian situation other than practicality," said World Bank President, James Wolfensohn, a Jew.
Elite Jewish bankers supporting Palestine? Doesn't this mess up the protesters' tidy worldview? Shouldn't they be cheering the World Bank, instead of jeering it?
The World Bank's financial support is a ringing endorsement of Yasser Arafat's policy and a prescription for more of the same.
Arafat can continue to run a police state (no dissent allowed, imprisonment without trial, torture), indoctrinate the young in hatred and send gunmen into Jewish homes to murder 5-year-old girls in their beds (as they did Saturday.) Sharon can continue to retaliate as he is doing.
You and I are paying for it, and the bankers are collecting the interest.
Apart from the money, why does the World Bank promote the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? To distract and inflame the people of the world and to make the Arabs look bad.
When Palestinian suicide bombers blow up civilians, with the support of Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran and Iraq, they are providing the elite with a rationale to attack these countries. When students in Baghdad voice support for suicide bombers, they forfeit the American public's sympathy in the upcoming war. Polls show that 40% of the American public support Israel while only 13% support the Palestinians.
Palestinian terror is a trap for the Arabs. They're being set up to be demonized and destroyed. And, before they go down, who knows what resistance they may offer? Israel and even the US may come under biological attack. The elite bankers don't care. War is a business for them. Palestinians and Israelis, you and I, are pawns in their game. We are all potential victims.
Islam with 1.2 billion adherents is assuming the role of "bogeyman" in the New World Order. Muslim countries, with their strong emphasis on family and religion, and their vast oil reserves, are in the crosshairs. The elite needs a new Cold War to enact its totalitarian and depopulation agendas.
The world is controlled by an interlocking cartel (oil, banking, media etc.) that is slowly institutionalizing its power in a friendly fascist "world government." This agenda involves the continued destruction of the nation state, democracy, family, religion and western civilization. The "war on terror" is a fabrication designed to advance these ends.
The Israelis and Palestinians could throw a spanner in all this by making peace. Their conflict is largely manufactured. You don't hear about the Kurds or Chechens getting billions do you? If the bankers simply said to both sides: no more money without a peace treaty, we'd have one.
Instead, the message is precisely the opposite. Go ahead and create havoc. We'll rebuild in no time!
Wonder why Ariel Sharon ignored George Bush's order to withdraw? Sharon takes his orders directly from the bankers, as do Bush and Arafat. Obviously, they are giving different instructions to each.
There is plenty of room in the Middle East for everyone. Jordan is 60% Palestinian anyway and contains huge unpopulated tracts. There are 1.2 million Palestinian Arabs who live in Israel and are Israeli citizens. Almost 200,000 other Palestinian Arabs had jobs in Israel. If the Israelis and Palestinians made peace (the elite's nightmare) everyone would prosper.
It is disturbing to see "anti globalization" forces condemn only Israel and flirt with Anti-Semitism. No country on earth would tolerate a terror war launched by a neighbor. No country would be as restrained as Israel in its response. And to be called Nazi for its trouble is obscene, and makes me despair.
Unlike the Palestinians, Israel does not kill civilians randomly. The victims of Jenin were mostly armed combatants who had a chance to surrender. Five-year-old Danielle Shefi in her bedroom in Adura on Saturday did not have that option.
Fascists like to use anti-Semitism to divert the masses from their real oppressors. Racism is judging people by their blood rather than as individuals. We are individuals. We each have a direct relationship to G-d.
I am a Jew. My likes and dislikes extend to Jews as well as non-Jews. As a young man I considered immigrating to Israel; I didn't like it there. I am too much of an individualist. Both Jews and non-Jews are behind the New World Order. (Rothschild is Jewish; Rockefeller is not. Wolfensohn is; Bush is not. I reject them all.) How can we resist fascism if we divide on racist lines?
The Israel-Palestine conflict is designed to inflame hatred so the elite can wage its war on Islam. The world has been hijacked by an international cartel with a depraved totalitarian agenda obscured by rhetoric about ensuring peace and ending poverty. It is promoting the Israeli-Arab conflict for its own evil ends.
It wins if it can distract and divide us. Let's not play its game. Let's embrace both Arabs and Israelis as brothers and sisters. Let's encourage both sides to make peace and prosper.
Let's focus on the real enemy: the World Bank and the baneful cartel it represents.

Call me an 'Isolationist,' but I've yet to see a 'Refutation for Dummies' explanation (i.e. one that even I could grasp) of why Pat Buchanan isn't right concerning why we should keep to ourselves, look after our own interest first, form no long-standing associations with other countries (which wind up corrupting our own self-interest), and, in general, STOP ACTING LIKE AN EMPIRE.
Waiting for help!
What kind of expression is "Jewish bankers," "depopulation agenda?" This article could have been written by "professional" Arab writers who similarly allege that the Jewish doctors inject HIV into Arab babies.
Why did you bother to post this?
No. This article is nothing like that.
The article, if you had bothered to read it, was written by a Jew and was questioning those who support the Palestinian terror machine. The article was extremely pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian, but you sir, seem too blinded by your hatred to even notice that.
I had no idea that the World Bank was so into supporting the Palestinians. This is a tremendous irony considering that many of the "elite bankers" are Jewish(Top, if you knew your Jewish history you might realize why this is so), and considering that the forces most against the World Bank are the pro-pallie anti-globalizer/anarchists. This article demonstrates the contradictions of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and brings these hidden absurdities to the surface.
It was a very interesting article, and I am glad that there are some thinking people capable of discerning subtleties and exposing the complexities of our world, unlike TopQuark who simply goes around stubbornly beating everything with a sledgehammer.
Excuse me but why?
Taking over Russia or Africa would be far more practical and far easier.
The Islamic world would be the very last place on my lists of places to take over in my quest to take over the world.

I've been hearing for sometime about a major initiative behind closed doors to lower the world's population. I really feel this War on Terrorism is the first step in that direction. I just wonder who they want to keep around and who they want to get rid of. Somehow I suspect they will mainly want to go after the Arabs and the Blacks. I suspect we will be seeing a lot of mysterious killer diseases and such in the near future.
That is a good description of the New World Order!!!!
The NWO characteristically uses muslim thugs and savages to do its dirty work. That is most clearly seen in the Balkans, but has also been true since 1980 Afghanistan and maybe before that (perhaps in Lebanon). (Of course, the NWO was much less developed then than it is now--no World Trade Organization, for example.) But the muslims have their world domination plans, too. The Rest Of Us are caught in between.
The unwashed muslim shills demonstrating for "Palestine" at those so-called "anti-globalization" demonstrations were just taking advantage of the opportunity. They are NOT REALLY anti-globalization at all--but they have co-opted the movement! That's because the anti-globalization demonstrations attracted a mixed group of people--including general malcontents--from the beginning. The pro-"Palestinian"crowd just came in with the malcontents and swamped out any genuine anti-globalization movement. (I am anti-globalization, and was an activist until the crazies and malcontents took over--take it from someone who knows!!!)
Besides that, around 95% of the pro-"Palestinian" demonstrators and leaders were screaming for Serbian blood and total "humanitarian" war in 1999! Anyone who is genuinely anti-globalization was at least against that war, if not pro-Serbian.
The NWO targeted and continues to target Serbia and Orthodox Christianity in general for destruction, and the muslim thugs are their henchmen in this evil plot.
That sounds pretty tinfoiled-out; however, a brief look at history should be enough for anyone to conclude that such things are not impossible. Yet, I cannot live under that kind of fear - that a conspiracy of such ugliness and hatred could exist.
But to the issue of population control, I'm sure that the World Bank is well aware that progressive capitalist democracies experience negative population growth. There is no need for secret viruses because a modern economy takes care of the population concerns. Therefore, if these "powers that be" desire depopulation they need only continue their policy of expanding capitalist markets. Some recent studies have concluded that the world's population may already be reaching it's peak. These studies are based upon the statistical projection of what would occurr if the 3rd world is able to "develop" and assimilate into the world economy- basically become like "us" and begin to experience negative population growth.
I actually really don't agree with the author. I just thought he had some interesting and thought-provoking questions. The World Bank supports the Palestinians because most organizations and governments do as well. The Arabian and Islamic world are a huge untapped resevoir of human productivity. The World Bank and others want to exploit this to form a huge new market. The "Disneyification" of the middle east would bring both peace and the marginalization of the Islamicist wackos, as their Jihad against American material culture will simply become irrelevant - yesterday's lost battle. But the frustration that surrounds the Arab/Israeli conflict is an enormous distraction away from this eventual "westernization" of the region. I'm sure many Jewish business men and "elite bankers" share this goal as prudent capitalists. Perhaps the true secret complicity is not Jewish bankers playing both sides and profiting off of a war against their nation, but between religious socialists in Israel and Islamos that both want to keep the secularization of global capitalism from setting its roots down in their "holy" land.
Though I am by no means ruling it out.
The Israeli-Palestinian fight seems to fit the pattern, in that it involves the "institutionalization of conflicting interests", to borrow a phrase coined by someone whose names escapes me at the moment. Also, I don't doubt that there is some "capitalization" going on, that benefits the likes of the Rockefellers et al; however, I think it is a bit of a stretch to suggest that they [the bankers] are soley responsible for instituting the conflict, when the religion of Islam has enough intrinsic militant qualities, this coupled with the oil and the overall political dynamic of the region, along with the presence of the sworn enemy of Isalm, the Jews present on Allah's soil--
--I say they would be fighting bankers or no.
Brian.
Waxhaw, after reading all the comments on this post, yours is the one that provides illumination. The Israeli/Palestinian conflict is not the only one in which the IMF and World Bank are stirring the pot. They are also major players in the conflicts in Africa, whether in the Congo, Sierre Leone, Liberia or Angola. And yet the conglomerates of the west are making money hand-over-fist despite the conflicts, or more likely, because of them.
I know it sounds a little tin-foilish of me, but I think those at the top are acutely aware of these differences and they are quite concerned about the population. So they will decide who stays and who goes. It might sound wierd but I've been thinking that for some time. Notice how we don't get to hear much about the human genome and related research. I think they would be more likely to get rid of people who are not as capable of being "productive". I hope I'm wrong of course.
I might sound silly, but it's not impossible.
