If it wasnt for me, my father would have had problems with doctors because he doesnt speak English, said Torres, who was born in Puerto Rico. If our parents pay taxes, we should have translators so bad things dont occur.I vote for English classes for dad...

When my mothers side of the family emmigrated to this country in the late 1800's they didn't speak a single word of english. Somehow they managed to produce 13 (yes, that's 13) children, learn to read, write and speak english, educate their children of which some went off to war in WWI & II to fight for this country - all without a translater or welfare. Imagine that, busting your a$$ and being appreciative of the country that takes you in.
