There was no violations of rights. This is a bogus argument. He was not charged with a crime at the t ime and was questioned as a material witness who freely talked to authorities before he was charged.

How can a case be thrown out when he lied to the grand jry? That had nothing to do with a proper arrest!

Assistant U.S. Attorney Robin Baker said Awadallah, ``by lying to the grand jury ... promoted terrorism.''

You assert. Obviously, the judge felt there was evidence that he was, in fact, held against his will. That's hardly "freely" talking to them.
