According to Belling, Al Gore is President, and Richard Jewell did the Olympic bombing in Atlanta. His political judgement is about as good as his football picks, ie. lousy.

I think Belling was just trying to incite people to come out and vote. His entire tack on Ryan's stance on domestic partner benefits could not have been anything but a ploy to incite people to get out to vote against Ryan. I don't know what Ryan was thinking on that one. I don't think that Belling is that dumb. How can you come out in favor of any increased spending in the current economic and political climate? It helped to solidifiy his loss. His stance on the Hoan Bridge, domestic partner relations and light rail killed him. That and his horrible presence in public speech and debate.

OUCH. You ever noticed how he always calls his first pick of the season a sure thing, and then he promptly loses it and the next three picks as well.
