Wasn't there something about fireside chats and cardigan sweaters? Does every demoRat president want to revive FDR? Why else would one talk of a National Malaise?
Those BORING talks in a sweater (to show us all that he was keeping the thermostat turned down and that he was "just folks") were the absolute last straw! ESPECIALLY the one about how we were in a national malaise and our bad mood was all OUR fault!!
