Sharon is not willing to cut the head off the snake. He was more than willing to "defy" Bush and keep his troops in place but what did he accomplish by that defiance. Not a damned thing. Bush is man enough to take a finger in the eye if the one sticking it there is doing so he can finish the job of defending his nation, However; Sharon was content to keep Arafat in a building and tying up the United States in a "peace" process that will never be realized. I, as an American, have lost all patience with a country that is not willing to make the basic decisions required for survival without the "political cover" of the United States. I am doubly fed up with that country's supporters that shift the blame onto our President for the lack of resolve, courage and will of their Prime Minister.
