WASHINGTON - President Bush used frequent-caller diplomacy - and public tightrope walking - to win the first concrete signs of progress in the Mideast in several weeks.

Experts say the grueling road to peace will take more of the new energy and diplomacy that Bush has exhibited in the past few days.

This can't be true. I haven't heard a damn thing about it on any of the broadcast networks.

Of course, not a word about this from FR's several "Bush bashers" either. Much to their chagrin, "W" again is proving to be a great leader.

Will Rusbo admit it also? That is my question. Someone will have to ping me though as he is now banned from my house until he gets over his childish snit.

Sorry, typo, Rushbo.

I think GW will be seen as a remarkable leader when history has a chance to see in full what he has achieved and will achieve. I pray for his safety every day.

Well, the Bushies have sure changed the tune. Arafat don't get no White House invites anymore. Now, it's viewed as a great step for peace when Arafat gets to go someplace with functioning plumbing. Personally, I like the idea of keeping him in the outhouse.

ohmygosh! Rush---he's driving me nuts! What is with him? I think he's trying to show "power" over the President...I really do. I am all for Israel but I'm so sick of Rush bashing the President--over everything. Sorry, but this got me started on a rant.

Rant!! Don't get me started! He has been horrible about this. I got so mad I wrote him a week ago and asked what was his problem! No answer of course, I didn't expect one.

It seems to me as if Rush got his widdle baby feelings hurt somehow and along with Bennett is having a temper tantrum.

I'm not listening anymore, and believe me, it's a lot easier on my blood pressure!

Regards, Jen
