I've been to Pleiku and Kontum, back in the war years. In Kontum, Dr Pat Smith ran a hospital for the "Yards", and you can't imagine anything so primitive. There were beds, probably queen-sized by our standards, and as many as 5, maybe more, women with their just-born babies on each bed. The mattresses were bare, terribly stained, but it was the best Dr Smith could do, since she rec'd so little support, and it was a luxury to the women. What is considered poor in our country, is extreme wealth to the VN tribal people.
I now remember about Kerry getting the money from Huang. Seems old bloodhound-faced Kerry will do about anything for money, incl marriage and campaign.
...What a picture...
...Americans treat Montagnards with LOVE...
...KERRY and the Communist Vietnamese treat them like they were an old stained mattress.
...Time to give KERRY a call to return the favor...?
