President Bush headed to the left coast today with stops in New Mexico and California. Bush addressed a crowd at the University of New Mexico saying that he will work to pass federal mental health parity legislation to eliminate disparites in the coverage of mental health benefits. The President then headed to Los Angeles where he made several stops before attending a fund raiser this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

We were "nerds" when we were your age. Just got through reading "BEAUTIFUL MIND" Friends tell me the book is better than the movie. I'm a reader. Highly reccomend it to you. Maybe one day I'll watch the movie.
What's really neat is watching the next generation grow into respectable places in society from their intellectual roots.(gads my spellling is awful......time for bed!)

We're back from our walk...yummm, and the ice cream was GREAT--haven't had any in so long.

No, I'm 46, and the baby time has past (whole 'nother topic--wanted them, but, I trust God to know what's best...), but I've been talking about house hunting to you all, and we found one! So, being the 'ol f@rts that we are, we celebrated with a walk and a cone! (BG & HSM to insert old man and lady pics here ;-)

We made an offer, had the lendor fax a "they qualify for a loan" letter, and now the fun begins! (gulp) No, we are VERY happy, and I felt compelled to share.

HSM & SuziQ, it feels like I'm having a baby--all the planning, and wondering if you should tell people before all the papers have been signed (just like the first trimester, ha ha)
