>>Be a Male Chauvinist.

We had a foreign exchange student from Russia. She relayed that sex with the boss is something a secretary needs to have on the resume for a good job. It usually comes up in the interview.

You forgot the mandatory pederasty indoctrinization in public schools.

I said government funded schools. I thought that pederasty, unethical behavior, situational ethics, pseudo-egalitarianism and lack of actual education were considered part and parcel of that.

I apologize if I didn't make that clear. I try not to use too many words when I respond to the Stavka2s of the world. It makes them think and, as they aren't used to that, it just makes them mad.

Pay only 15% in total taxes instead of 60%.

This is really a bogus claim. The reason income taxes were lowered is that no one complied with them. The lower rate has significantly improved compliance in Russia. But the fact is Russia has many many other taxes that they get their real revenue from. Russia has a 20% VAT and something called a profits tax. Plus they have all the other taxe, such as sales tax on top of VAT, property tax, corporate tax, etc. The US top income rate is 39%, thanks mostly to Clinton. But the main point is the Russian VAT makes any direct comparison between our income tax and theirs meaningless, since their VAT is their biggie.

Problem for idealists like you is that anyone who passes any law is an authoritarian "slug". Go to a third world nation where there are no laws and enjoy the fruits of your pure freedom nature.

Typical. Authoritarians think that anyone who objects to having their life run by them and their friends doesn't deserve to live here.

The problem is, I'm far from being alone. I'm just mouthy about it. Most people in this country don't care what pushy, invasive rules the authoritarians make. If they like them, they obey them. If they don't, they break them.

Doubt me? The next time you're on an interstate highway, check out how many people actually drive the speed limit. How many people cross state lines to buy fireworks? How many people bet on sporting events where it's prohibited or buy moonshine?

The Russians tried for 70 years to make people buy and sell a certain way, think in certain ways and give up religion. It didn't work, they abandoned the idea and are giving freedom a chance, but there seem to be a few in this country that are just aching to give authoritarianism one last try.

Get with the program, people really don't like being told what's best for them.
