Until now, groups like the ADL and leaders of the Jewish community viewed their enemies as coming primarily from the Right. Christian conservatives and evangelicals were grouped with Skinheads and neo-Nazis as threats to the Jewish community in the US.

Now Jews are faced with a new paradigm. They have not adjusted well. Some will never adjust. It would be nice to hear a “sorry about that, we had it wrong” from Jews to the Christian Right.

It’s not necessary, but it would be nice.

Couple of things...

Firstly, this source is about as unreliable as any could be. I wouldn't trust it at all.

Secondly, to address your point-- American and Israeli Jews are discovering an ally they never knew they had before: evangelical christianity. One of my classmates here at school was amazed to discover that a major segment of Christianity supported the Israeli state at least as strongly as she did.

The ADL is more of a liberal institution than a Jewish one.
