Better have a substitute host on stand by daily.I don't see this sociopath having the self discipline to pepare and show up for a show that is live at 7 AM ET five days a week,52 weeks a year.

Don't they have to be in the studio around 3 or 4 in the morning? That'll put a definite crimp on his style.

It's not a matter of Clinton getting up that early; it's a matter of him staying up that late.

He will need additional stimulants.

Good points. Clinton could not be punctual when he had an array of aides - no chance when he is on his own.

Why? Caught part of an interview on RCI (maybe BBC) last night, author of book on Saddam. Seems some
Iraqi TV exec started the practice of allowing anybody off the street to "sing" the praises of Saddam on the air.

'Natch, guess what's on all the time? Guess who had a problem when the program director decided to
actually program something [else]? Guess what is back filling the program schedule?

If CBS actually decides to pursue this strategy, which in a sane world, would result in the non-renewal of all of CBS'
FCC licenses, (not to mention SEC regs about due diligence), what do you want to bet that he only talks about
himself and/or receives the praises of the idiotic masses that stand in the rain in front of the studios of the morning shows?

I remember growing up, the roller derby had the biggest audience (the Beltway, late '60s). Guess what?
The people that watched it didn't have any disposable income. Kind of difficult to keep advertisers.
(The reverse was true of golf - small audience, but tons of d.i.)

The salemen will sign contracts, and the advertisers will get stuck with lower ratings than Crossfire.

The consumers will get stuck paying the bills for Clinton yet again.

Madness.

This job would not give him enough power.
