CBS is very shrewd here. Ordinarily, the choice of Early Show host would rate about as much ink as deciding which janitor cleans the toilets. This way, they get some buzz for the position. I think I remember seeing this before -- a media company saying Bill Clinton is "in the running" just to have it be revealed as nonsense.
