Moderator - Comes in at least two varieties: Admin Moderator and Sidebar Moderator. On a thread last night (Hey, mods...lighten up a little) the existance of a third variety was confirmed: Lead Moderator
The same thread also speculates about "Shadow Moderators", but so far they're just a rumor.

Excellent summary, Bob J.
I remember a lot of hard feelings over the DITHF fiasco. I didn't recall, though, exactly how his deception was discovered. Thanks for the additional details.

Moderator - Comes in at least two varieties: Admin Moderator and Sidebar Moderator. Moderators are Freepers who are appointed by owner/operator Jim Robinson to help maintain order on an expanding FR. They have authority to move and delete threads and replies, and to delete accounts. Moderators' Freeper identities are a closely kept secret.I get pinged all the time by people who mistakenly believe I am an Admin Moderator.

What the heck was the name of the mysterious, highly placed Poster that was predicting that Clintigula was going to find some excuse (and maybe even might create the situation himself) so as to declare a national emergency and keep himself in power?I think you may be referring to Quidam.
"Trust Starr", LOFL!

To be clear, Libertarian's are never LED anywhere! :) They were just right, and my account was never suspended.
Anyways... I am shocked and saddened 'Pool Poopy' did not make it into the offical lexicon!
