All of the bishops, including cardinals, have a tremendous responsibility to follow Peter. To do otherwise is disobedience to Christ. Because, Our Lord said to Peter, 'those who hear YOU, hear me'.

Thank you for your thoughtful answer. I was going to write back to you and ask why they (some Bishops and Cardinals) have not been obedient to Christ, etc., etc., but then I thought the better of it. I do believe that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church, and I just have to have more faith in Him and His word. Thy will be done. As you know, it is pretty tough right now, not the Faith that we are so blessed to have, but the faith in men who are supposed to rescue souls for God - I never saw this coming in such an evil way. I did see the watering down of the catachism and the irrelevance of the Church that watering down has produced, but evil of this magnitude has just floored me.

St. John Bosco had a dream one time where he saw a huge ship in extremely dangerous waters. The Pope, at the helm, was trying to steer it between two pillars. On one pillar stood the Virgin and on the other pillar was the Eucharist. This huge ship signified the Church. The dangerous waters was moral decay and evil. I don't think there is a better description of what our Holy Pope is trying to do than this dream of St. John Bosco's. Our Lord told us that He would never abandon His Church, that's us. The gates of hell are surely trying to steer the ship out of any safe harbor. Anyone not anchored on Christ's promises will surely be swept away. We need to pray especially for our leaders. It is our duty.

Same here, I am totally floored...this is diabolical on many levels...I keep on catching myself trying to lighten up the psychological impact with humor...a defense mechanism of some sort. And the network of this stuff being orchestrated really points the finger to Antonio Gramsci's plan(Hillary Clinton supposedly did her senior paper on him.)

One just has to focus on the Eucharist and in mind hold onto the Crucifix and read the lives of the Saints, the CCC and Scripture.
