Ordered the vernier tang sight with windage,it is an Italian made gun.Couldn't afford the Shiloh Sharps version,at $3000 that was a bit to much for me.

Can you tell me exactly what you have? I'm trying to post pictures but my account on the host site is overdrawn. I have a musket style Remington Rolling Block rechambered for 45-70. Tang site. Nickeled screws and bayonet lug. I paid $275 for it about 6 years ago. The Browning 1886 kicks like a mule but this thing just pops. I just got stupid in the last hour and ordered an Automatic Revolver. If I can figure out how to post a thread, I'll do a vanity shooting report.
