What's more, everyone is buying it.
The last time we ventured into Iraq it involved a bait and switch. While Iraq was looking to the sea for invasion, Stormin' Norman went in behind them. I don't think Saddam will fall for it again, so we need another surprise.
Given all the talk lately about how the Saudis won't let us use their bases and such... and how they are 'talking tough' to Bush, it looks like people are going to be surprised again.
One of the sources hinting that the Saudis were threatening Israel with their troops accidently slipped and said the Saudi 'buildup,' such as it is, was near the border to the northEAST of the capitol. No one on the thread noticed that in their haste to assume it was a threatening gesture towards Israel.
That locale is of more interest to Iraq than it is to Israel.
That and other indicators seem to say that it won't be long now.
