Yes, provinces will print their own money. Salta is notorious for going its own way. Americans do not understand that Argentinians are like the Romans of the Third Century AD. Everyone lives in the past, everyone is convinced that, like a decaying Rome, Buenos Aires is the center of the universe. The Portenos of Buenos Aires are absolutely convinced that they are the smartest people who have ever lived (ask any Latino about that!), even though they have proved time and again they are suckers for a fascist or Marxist message. Finally, the Argentine work force isn't worth squat, and investors know it.
