BTW writting a letter to state speaker Naifeh is a complete waste of effort unless you are from his district it will not get read. Writting a letter to Taxquist is as futile as well. He's arrogant and nothing will sway him. But look for Taxquist to be in Washington DC in an advisory position to the White House by this time next year. Mark my word on it. He was the Bush state chairman and leaves office in January 2003.

Oh, but Lundquist is really a conservative, doncha' know? Why, if you hadn't voted for him, you might have a democrat as governor, and then where would you be? Just look at George Bush...good thing the GOP has a compassionate conservative president just like Tennessee has a compassionate conservative governor, who sees the need for higher taxes, increased spending, and suppressing opposition to bigger government...Bush used CFR, Lundquist the National Guard...

Where are all the Bush groupies? They love to support every sellout of Bush, so I would think they would extend the same courtesy to Taxquist.

Anyway, you folks down in Tennessee...go get them. Don't accept this tax, and work to vote out all those RINO GOP Big government types.
