The Zogby poll said that 59% of Jews under the age of 30 voted for Bush.
While I don't know the exact percentage, most of the Orthodox Jews I know vote Republican (and this is mostly Gen-Xers, but also people in their 40's.)
In the late NY Senate election, most Chasidic groups voted for Lazio (the Squarers a notable exception.)
Some people want to complain about Jewish voters no matter what. You complain that they vote Democrat when the Dems sell Israel down the river. Then you complain that they vote Republican, because the Republicans are pro-Israel. Make up your mind.
The grassroot republicans have long supported Israel and it has absolutely nothing to do with religion. Most of us admire the fact that they moved into a desert and made it into a garden. They're tough, and feisty and I don't know many Americans who don't admire those traits, but they go over REALLY big with republicans.
