Bush In Bed With Homosexuals
ToogoodReports ^ | April 24, 2002 | Chuck Baldwin

Posted on 04/24/2002 5:12:21 AM PDT by Starmaker

By now, we have a clear record on the Bush administration in regard to homosexuality. The record reveals that President Bush is more than sympathetic to the homosexual agenda. One could even argue that Bush has become (or always was) a proud promoter of that agenda. Here is the record; you judge for yourself.

  1. Candidate George W. Bush appointed four openly homosexual, gay-rights advocates to his presidential campaign steering committee. According to the homosexual group, Log Cabin Republicans, "scores" of Bush state steering committee members and campaign volunteers were homosexuals.
  2. Perhaps this explains why hundreds of homosexuals gathered in Washington, D.C., last weekend to "celebrate the achievements and leadership of George W. Bush." It also helps to explain why Rich Tafel, executive director of Log Cabin Republicans, said, "We want the country to know that we are behind our president and administration."
  3. On Dec. 21, 2001, President Bush signed a historic bill, which "for the first time allows the District of Columbia government to fund a program that will give domestic partners of city employees access to health benefits." Remember, Bush insisted that openly homosexual Congressman Jim Kolbe of Arizona be given a prominent speaking role at the Republican National Convention. It was Kolbe who introduced the amendment lifting the ban on gay partner benefits in D.C.
  4. Bush named Scot Evertz, a prominent homosexual activist, to head the White House AIDS office even though he had absolutely no experience dealing with public health issues.
  5. Bush appointed another homosexual activist, Donald Cappoccia, to the U.S. Commission on Fine Arts.
  6. Bush appointed openly homosexual, Michael Guest, as Ambassador to Romania. Since then, Bush has decided to leave in place a Clinton policy that calls for supporting the "unmarried partners" of U.S. Foreign Service workers. This allows Guest's live-in lover to live in the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest and allows him to join Guest at official embassy functions.
  7. Bush presided over the appointment of homosexual activist, Stephen Herbits, to oversee the choice of civilian personnel at the Pentagon.
  8. Bush has not reversed a single pro-homosexual policy instituted by former president Bill Clinton. Not even one!
  9. The Bush administration posted a job for what is called a "gay and lesbian program specialist" at the Department of Agriculture.
  10. Bush appointed the ardently pro-homosexual Governor of Massachusetts, Paul Cellucci, as U.S. Ambassador to Canada.
  11. Bush appointed Lewis Eisenberg to become the new GOP chief fundraiser. Eisenberg has a long history of supporting pro-homosexual and pro-abortion candidates.
  12. Just yesterday, The Washington Times reported, "The Bush administration has joined European delegates to an upcoming U.N. summit on children in moving to recognize families 'in various forms,' including unmarried cohabiting couples and homosexual partners."

Concerned Women for America is so concerned that it recently released a statement saying, "President George Bush is just another Bill Clinton on the homosexual-rights issue." Perhaps Log Cabin spokesman, Rich Tafel, best summarized the situation. He said, "He [Bush] has a vision of a different Republican Party." If homosexual activists such as Tafel can see the real George W. Bush, why cannot Christian conservatives?

Hurray for Bush, then. I guess he realizes he is the president of ALL the people and not just the fundamentalists.

Bush appointed openly homosexual, Michael Guest, as Ambassador to Romania.

I don't care one way or the other about the rest of it,but this is just plain wrong.Besides Romania being a "Orthodox Christian" nation like the rest of Eastern Europe,a Ambassador IS a official representative of the United States of America.

I would hope Bush is doing it more than just for political reasons. Unfortunately this is again where fundamentalist belief has missed the train out of the station. Western civilization will not be soon going back to homophobic ways. The fundamentalists are fighting a rear guard action (pun not intended :-) and they will continue to further marginalize themselves. They will have less and less influnence politically, and they will start to suffer increasing loss of believers from their youngsters as their message diverges further and further from societal norms.

I can point to the case of one young lady right here on FR who was a fundamentalist right up until about a year ago. But they lost her and they will lose others.

I'm surprised Chuck Baldwin would write an article like this, considering he is a homosexual himself.

Got a source for this slander, bud? Didn't think so.

If you don't agree with the author, debate his message. Don't attack the author. Doing so makes you no better than the DEMOCRATS.

:/ ttt

But gosh, doesn't he know that these people are all liars and criminals? And that because a vocal minority of them demand special rights and preferential treatment from others that are uncomfortable with homosexuality, ALL of them are evil?

I mean, my gosh, think of the children! Doesn't Dubya know how much they idolize the US Ambassador to Canada? Now when they find out he's gay (not because he tells them himself or makes a big deal of it in any way, but because their own fine upstanding Christian parents do), they'll have to be the gay, too!

No more slanderous than his article, not to mention it was meant to be humorous. Take a chill pill

Bush is like his Dad, will learn that regardless of how much he gives in to the radical left, he still will get an absolute nothing in return. For example, look at our country's energy crisis, with the Arabs threatening to cut the oil, with the escalation of the price of crude, with 20 years freeze on refinery capacity expansion, and moratorium on drilling in many areas around the country; all that, and he has 80% approval rating because of the war on terrorists; despite of all that cumulative reasons for him to get his ways, he is unable to drill in one square mile in Alaska, which is almost the size of a continent!

The lesson learned: DO NOT THINK THAT THE RADICAL LEFT WILL EVER LOVE YOU!

Can Chuck Baldwin give us an example of any proposals by this administration promoting homosexuality?, methinks Chuck has an agenda, just have a look at his articles

Could it be to promote Chuck Baldwin as the great defender of the faith? More likely as the great defender of the ignorant and lost. Or could it be to make money for Baldwin and his favorite organizations?

Hurray for Bush, then. I guess he realizes he is the president of ALL the people and not just the fundamentalists.

Of course he's president of ALL the people. But he should have more sense than to even indirectly acknowledge and give sanction to the perverse sexual habits of a few of the people.

"Gay" and "lesbian" do NOT denote unique genders or races of human beings anymore than "podephile," "necrophile," bestophile," or "serial adulterer" do. Are you suggesting that unless Bush acknowledges and appoints vocal bestophile activists to positions in his administration he is falling short on his duty to be president of ALL the people?

Of course you are. All gay activists believe the true and sole essence of a human being is his or her sexual drives--the more perverse, the better. Everything else is strictly secondary.

Perhaps it isn't any more slanderous than the article. The correct remedy is still to debate the message, not slam the messenger. (It's always been the strategy of the Donkey's to personally attack the proverbial messenger, which is why I called you on your post.)

If it was meant to be humorous, I must've missed it. I will leave it at this, and promptly chill out. (Next time, you may want to indicate somehow that you're speaking tongue-in-cheek... Either that, or wear flame-retardant underwear! :) )

:) ttt

Bush named Scot Evertz, a prominent homosexual activist, to head the White House AIDS office even though he had absolutely no experience dealing with public health issues.

And Tommy Thompson does have experience in dealing with public health issues and Spence Abraham has experience in dealing with nuclear power plants and Christy Todd Witman has experience dealing with environmental cleanups? And George Bush had experience prior to his innaguration in foreign policy? The person is in a managerial position. He helps set goals, programs, and sees that they are administered. He's not a low level technocrat.

This claim alone shows that Baldwin is either spinning or totally clueless.

This is poppycock! W treats people as individuals. Homosexuals have to work. If they can help his administration why not.

...moving to recognize families 'in various forms...

Is this documented? I'd like to see where he is going on this but you must admit he as the dems on the run.

You will publicly be called a "bigot" if you believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.

Okay do you believe that Jesus said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"? Do you believe the Bible commands that you not bear false witness against another? Beyond the commandment to love the lord your God, the next highest commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. If Jesus were here today he would hang out with gays and other misfits as he did when he hung with whores and tax collectors. You seem to be very selective in your reading of the Bible or else you seem to suggest that the word isnt "inerrant."

number three takes the cake. I think he left out the 1st prosecution of a murder case under the Hate Crimes Act--celebrated with a press confrence by Ashcroft. My, my, what a diffrence the truth makes.
