I dont pay attention to fluff polls...the data was from Battleground Polls and reported by Hotline.

...the data was from Battleground Polls and reported by Hotline I heard it on CSPAN about 2-3 days ago. I searched Tarrance Group site and others but cant find the poll results. Hotline is a credible source and reports verbally on Cspan several times per week - it may not be up yet. Sorry I cant provide the link.

Okay, thanks for the update. I must say I find it hard to believe that Gore could run even with President Bush at this time. With absolutely everything going against him, Bush still broke even with Gore nationally in Nov 2000. I can't imagine that the President hasn't significantly improved his stock with his many doubters, while Gore's value has - at best - remained the same. Just my two cents.

You make a good point, and I have to admit that the preponderance of polls showing Bush up big, is making me question the report on CSPAN. The Battleground polls are usually better do to their deselecting low interest voters and weighting highly interested voters, which represents voting patterns better....But I'm unable to document what I heard on cspan
...but let's remember that many of these polls are measuring over 50% of the population that likely will not vote by statistical standards. Come election time, when the liberal media set the framework for the agenda to suit liberal Dums...in the end, it will be a close race.

In the end, I don't think Gore would survive the primary. But that remains to be seen.
