Enron broke plenty of existing laws: embezzlement and conspiracy to commit fraud (2 sets of books) among them.

Certainly there were already illegal things as well.

I just thought of another reverse scenario for allowing this type of legislation to pass. Im sure you have heard of that book that teaches kids about sex? It was on O'reilly the other night.It also says that adult "hands on" teaching of young kids about sex isnt pedophelia,it teaching kids how to have a "positive sexual experience". How would you like certain groups based on the morality of tolerance (gag)to have the county forced into having that book on the shelves of High Schools? Of Middle Schools?
