#65-After we split up inside city hall, Ron, Carol, Darren and I were led through the basement then back upstairs to the Van Ness side of the building. As a precaution, we removed or covered clothing and items which might distinguish us as patriotic americans. Darren was ready to give up his american flag, but Carol said no, she would carry it. As we were leaving a well meaning officer from SFSD said to Carol, 'you might want to hide that flag', to which she retorted 'I'm an american, I will NOT hide this flag!'. mac_truck, thanks for telling us. WOW! Unbelievable!! : (
