If all these people can do is look for typos and that overrides the content they can shiny up a tree. Good Grief!
I was moved by your report. It seems so sad that with all the work you folks put into this rally that you couldn't get more cooperation from the media etc. The Washington DC FR Chapter are great Americans and wonderful role models. Efforts like this may seem unrewarding immediately but they will be influencing people you don't even realize.
It is such a shame that the "commies" just can't seem to mind their own business...they have to make things difficulty for everyone.
If I wasn't on the left coast I would have loved to attended. Is there a place that I could send a couple of dollars to help on the over run of expenses? Enjoyed the report and God bless you and your efforts.
the chief of police of DC deserves a poke in the nose for:
a. marching WITH the scum,
b. apologizing for their conduct, &
c.acting as if their actions were OK with him!
every decent person in DC should be HUMILIATED that he was so WRONG in speaking up for the clymers, filth, creeps, thugs & useful idiots rallying across the street, while acting as a public servant/official!

Want proof? I am probably in agreement with the vast majority of the Freepers on most of the issues - but, seemingly, not on the Palestinian/Isreali issue. I do support Israel, and would support the use of US troops to defend her in time of crisis. But I want Isreal to return to the pre-1967 borders, dismantle the settlements, and return half of Jerusalem. I then support the creation of a Palestinian state. To me it is the only just, moral solution. I do not want to "cross threads", so I will expand on this subject at some time in the proper area.
Therefore, I found myself at times disagreeing with some points made at the Freeper rally, and agreeing with a few things said at the freak rally. I was torn apart. Had the other side been a thoughtful, respectful rally supporting Palestinain statehood, I would have been over there. And I LOVE America, the Republican Party, the 2nd Ammendment, Ronald Reagan, etc., and support our nations close relationship with Israel.
As I stood on the corner of Constitution and Pennsylvania and all the freaks walked by, one Muslim middle aged gentleman, politley dressed, walked by respectfully carrying a large, clean, unblemished American Flag. We looked each other in the eyes, and he smiled and nodded to me. He was saying he was a proud American, whatever else his agenda was at the rally. Beleive me, he probably took a lot of hell from the other side for carrying that flag.
Some of the Muslims who came up to me there challenged me on Palestien, but when I told them I had sympathies for the Palestinian cause they asked me why I was protesting. I then asked them how they could stand with the radical commies of ANSWER and their virulent anti-American hate, and they told me they did not support that stuff. I then challenged them to think about how the commies, as they always do by reaching out to the disaffected, used them as props in their American hating rally.
Before I went to the Freeper rally I sat quite a while listening to the freaks, and I watched most of it on C-Span. It was originally an anti-WTO rally, and they barely changed their scheduled speakers. Most just gave lip-service to the Palestinians and then went to their main subject, hating America in one way or another.
I am sure many of the Muslims loved this stuff, hate America as much as the most traitorous communist, but not all. Or some hate American policy, which is not valid in the face of the facts, but still can be and otherwise were decent human beings. I know what I experienced, and this is the truth.
Some of these people can be reached. Look at the history of other nationalities immigrating to America. I am Irish, and after the Civil War a group of Irish formed an army in NY State and attacked Canada in the hope of starting a war between the US and England for the advantage of Ireland. That was a traitorous act. Look what great American's almost all Irish (no group is 100%) are today.
Assimilation will occur, and we will only delay the process by smearing all Mulsims with the same brush. The best way to defeat the enemy, the organizers of that event, is to convince who we can on the other side with reasoned arguments, and clearly point out the evil deceits of the unrepentant.
Surely you understand that many of the young have yet to form a true opinion themselves, and are being led astray by the communists and racists running our universities, the lies coming from their leaders, the distortions from NGO's, etc., etc. Plus, I insist that the Palestinians do have some valid complaints and some fair demands.
One of my sons freinds is one of the best kids I saw grow up in our community - top student and athelete, and always decent and respectful - and he is a Lebanese Muslim.
Look, I know it's fun to smear the freaks. They say such terrible things, such lies, and if they could they would tear this great nation down and impose their evil dictatorships. I am just saying that not all of them are pure evil.
i could NOT anti-Islam as my much-beloved, beautiful,educated, adopted daughter (from Turkey)is a DEVOUT Moslem;to be anti-Islam is to be anti-daughter.
she is disgusted/horrified/nauseated with the BLASPHEMY of the anti-Americans who were at the rally AND is even more horrified by the anti-Jewish/anti-Christian bias of all too many of those of her faith. she has shed many TEARS about how evil the Moslems are who have perpetrated this horror story we have been living sine 9-1101.
we Christians/Jews/Moslems are ALL people of the book.
