This is a Federal tax, taxing consumption of its own Federal agencies.

As usual, wrong again. There are no exemptions...remember?

`(a) GOVERNMENT ENTERPRISES TO COLLECT AND REMIT TAXES ON SALES- Nothing in this subtitle shall be construed to exempt any Federal, State, or local governmental unit or political subdivision (whether or not the State is an administering State) operating a government enterprise from collecting and remitting tax imposed by this subtitle on any sale of taxable property or services. ....

BTW, where does the federal government get the money to pay itself taxes?... That, and the sales(?) tax on "any government" wages sure shoots a hole in the "You make your choices as to how much tax you pay by how much you buy", theory doesn't it?

Same place as federal employees get paid from lewislynn when they get taxed by both the federal government and state governments under income and payroll taxes today.

The taxbase as a whole.

Are you recommending that government employees not pay a National Retail Sales Tax or Income/Payroll taxes today, because they get there money from taxes lewislynn?

Please note that when a government purchases goods from retail suppliers today it pays the same taxes levied and embedded in the prices of those goods as everyone else.

By the way lewislynn, you are more than welcome to take any of your concerns to the Court, if ever the NRST should happen to get enacted.

Besides if it is unconstitutional just don't pay it lewislynn, just like not paying the income tax, there is always the black market cash economy. LOL
