It was my impression one of goals of this event was to show support for the war on terror and our armed forces. Whether you had 10 or 10,000 people, it seems to me this was accomplished.

I don't believe that this was a big issue with those of us at the Rally. I came home after the Rally to read dio's comments and a few others who seemed to have an issue with numbers. DC Chapter members (from the old Clinton days, and Condit, and China embassy, etc.) are used to working in smaller numbers than union/Democrat bus-in type events; it makes us work that much harder and put that much more heart into our work when we are outnumbered. While we may have been outnumbered in the physical sense, we were definitely in the majority if you count functioning brain cells of the opposing groups' attendees.

What were the measureable goals for this event as decided by the organizers prior to deciding to proceed and were they achieved?

To show support for our troops and for America. Yes.

BTW - Criticizing others for not being there will not help attendance at your next event.

I was quoting MrConfettiMan (remember him?) from his post titled "I was there, where were you?" that inspired the creation of the DC Chapter. The rest, as they say, is history.

I am very glad that you are on my side. Thank you for the tremendous amount of work and heart that you devoted to the success of the Patriots Rally for America.
