You know, I was very proud yesterday - of those that came, of those that donated hard earned funds and couldn't attend, those that gave us a whole lot of moral support in the weeks leading up to the event and yesterday. Frankly, what I witnessed yestereday at the rally and read on this thread and the CSPAN thread upon returning home last night was truly inspiring. So much so that the thought process on my part is already planning out the next event and the one after that. Wars are not won by winning every battle - and we did not lose yesterday - hands down. Remember - Every Patriot FReep adds up. And BTW, we learn from each experience also. That is why the military trains so hard - because you learn each time you go out there and are better prepared for the next event - be it another training exercise or the "real one".

We are the base should conditions get to the point of outrage over the left/anarchist/whatever's shenanigans or another terrorist attack. There now is a "base" of expertise that has arranged press conferences, arranged permits, hired infrastructure (stage, generator, sound system, porta-potties, etc), understsands rally logistics - and the list goes on. Never, ever, through out the baby with the bath water. We are in this for the long term and we hope many of you will be there with us.

As usual, a great job Dave, by you and your fellow freepers.

The Opecker Princes probably spent several million $'s to bring their diseased maggots to DC via Ramsey Clark.

Our freepers operate on personal funds and a few donations have a tremendous effect.

Whenever you see massive amounts of the maggots and their maggot infested renta mobs in DC or SF, just ask who sent the money to enable these idiots to march. In this case it is simple. It was the Opecker Princes who have been financing world terrorism, the PA's and 9/11.

Great Job again. The Free Republic Eagles continue to soar in DC for freedom and America!

The Rally was a phenomenal event, Dave, from the start of the music at 10 a.m. to closing with "God Bless America." I saw and heard very disturbing things from the leftists who infiltrated. Each speaker lent something uplifting, educational, and inspirational in his or her own unique style to the day. I thank each and every one of them for being there with us.

The heroic Green Beret speaking of God and humility with the building backdrop of the angry, noisy, pro-Palestinians and darkening skies still unsettles me. The Police in full riot gear were arriving on one side and more mounted Park Police were moving in on the other. Several other attendees have spoken of the danger sensed at that moment. Through it all, the Green Beret stayed calm, never swayed and kept speaking of how his faith in God was with him the day he rescued others in the fiery Pentagon attack. It was one of the most vivid illustrations of good vs. evil I've ever witnessed.

DD, thanks so much for the ping, for keeping us posted with live reports, and for sharing the photos of our wonderful patriots. Please know that many who couldn't attend were certainly with you in spirit. For those who may have been away from FR for some reason or another (guilty but with reason) can you let us know where to send donations. Again, thanks from the bottom of my heart. Listening to the commie sympathizers on C-Span made blood pressures rise and only enhanced the need to greet them when they make their return to NYC on June lst.

You mention that one only learns from experience doing these things etc. My thought re this rally was that we had learned from the past and it was better and each one is better than the last. I think the turnout was a success -- Channel 9 local news gave almost equal time to the rally without mentioning any numbers. Although I realize it wasn't as much as one could hoped for, truly the media paid more attention to us than in the past (but not as much as they should have!). I was thinking just that. Then I read your post-it, and it occurs to me that we have "built" on past successes in an important way: the media at least now has to, however grudingly, cover us somewhat. I know, I know, it wasn't fair. But it was progress. Congratulations.

Dave, from one of the leaders who worked so hard to pull the rally off, truer words were never spoken. The fact that we were there was enough to drive ANSWER and their minions crazy. They could not stand the fact that we were there. We gave a great rally. We can show our wounds and those who were not there will rue the day.

Perhaps next time when the call goes out ...

You got to love Bob Dorman. When he had given time to everyone at our site after his speech, he took off across the streert on his own to find some more flabby Lefties to lay into.
