Oh, I forgot one other thing in the post above. One of the unwashed at one point said to me, "Look how many people are here. Can we all be wrong?" Honey, assuming the population of the US runs around 300,000,000, even an extremely generous estimate of 100,000 puts you at less than one percent of our nation. Bush's approval ratings, I believe, remain above 80%. Could all of those Americans be wrong?

As one other poster pointed out above, conservatives do not really have personalities equipped for protest. We are polite, and we have families and jobs that are our top priority. As some of the stories above demonstrate, confrontation makes us tired- I know I was wiped out. But America is behind us- policemen thanked us as we walked down the street with our American flags. People on the metro from Springfield congratulated me for standing up to some of the leftists who were in the same car, and one soldier who was listening in joined in on the debate. We are well supported, my leftist friend.

We are well supported, my leftist friend.

As I pointed out in my opening rant today for AMERICA - The Right Way, they are afraid.

How else can you explain their concern of, at most, 200 folks when their number was in the tens of thousands? How else can you explain their belief that their word will not be noticed if contrasted against that of the right? Even when they control the "mainstream" media?

There is no other explanation. They realize their position is a minority view.

They were so afraid of a gathering of 200 patriots they felt the need to try and shut us down.
