Another approach is to use an overpressure switch. The end result is the same. The exterior explosion sets off the interior placed bombs.

Of course the laws of physics must be quite pliable for a crude exterior bomb placed over 70 feet from the Murrah building to blow it down while at the same time only doing facial damage to the buildings just opposite.

Of course one must make allowances for the Kobar Tower bombing in Saudi Arabia. Here 40,000 pounds of highly energetic military explosive was placed just opposite this building and set off. The facade was damged. 19 Americans were killed. If the building had collapsed the death toll would have been at least 10 times greater.

Now I am not a demo guy by no means so I hope you will entertain a few questions. I could see where mercury in a glass bulb, much like a home heating and cooling thermostat, could be used to go off if the vibration is strong enough. Could you please elaborate on an overpressure switch? Is it triggered by a change in pressure kind of like a nuke warhead that senses what kPA it is in and when to detonate?
