Its not the locals its a few rent amobs caused by Saudi and Iranian agitators its the only explanation that makes any sense because they've been pretty loyal in the past( they were even nice when one of the princesses ran off and married a marine stationed there).

I would have prefered a "disqusting" warning next to that link.Sorry, it addressed the validity of the letter, but I should have looked farther down the page.
chookter, Marines can read and write /humor. Actually, given the tense changes "The Marines" next "We", I'd say it's bogus. Even with lousy writing skills, you don't alternatively refer to yourself that way. And an Embassy Guard wouldn't refer to other guards as the Marines.
On the long shot that its valid, in a unit that small, someone is in a world of something right now.

Now we know why Marines guard our embassies instead of us squids, fly boys and ground pounders.
A friend of mine was a Navy MD and went to Nam. He later told me about how he was operating on wounded marines and army soldiers in a MASH type of a situation, when Charlies started to slip into the camp and began firing and throwing grenades.
The wounded Marines who were not under anesthesia got their weapons and hobbled out or crawled out of the OR tent and the little recovery tent. Then, they took care of the Charlies and came back for their surgery or back to the recovery tent.
My friend was amazed. The young marines were concerned about his safety, his nurses and corpmen, and they did not feel that they did anything special. They were just being Marines and doing what had to be done.

Questioning the authenticity of an email being spread on the net is not an act of disloyalty to anyone or anything. Especially when it involves the military. Ever hear the phrase 'loose lips sink ships'?

So my theory was correct its outside agitators stirring up trouble not the locals( well partially I fingured the Saudis being the leading figures instead of the Iranians).

It's not the so-called Amen Corner that is of concern to Americans, it's the Imam Corner.

Now, why would a marine spam the net with such a message? I notice you don't know this guy from Adam, so it was obviously spammed, no?
Until you put up something more substantial than your round-the-head mouth, I'm gonna assume that Mr. Lied lied again :).

Questioning the authenticity of an email being spread on the net is not an act of disloyalty to anyone or anything. Of course not. That is why I posted this. To find out. However the Israeli seminar gang is interested in nothing else. Cachelot's comment addressed nothing. Just another vapid personal attack out of the blue.

Those were my favorite ads too.
To: LarryLied
Oh, and why does the link in top that says "email" dump you to YOUR article from some Gulf press outlet, no "email" in immediate sight?
Faking stuff again, Mr. Lied?? I do believe that is against the rules?

Cachelot's comment addressed nothing. Really, Lied? It addressed you. And it requested the HEADERS, which you probably know what is if you're not mentally deficient, which I'm beginning to feel a bit sceptical about frankly :)).

I would push the abuse buttom, not because I care, but because it is important for people to see what you are all about. Never disappointed in you. Most every thread on which I reply, you pull the same schtick.

So when are you going to show us the headers of this famous email of yours, which does not show up on the link that clearly says "email"?
