Well, you can't choose your judges. It is (or should be) luck of the draw.

Imagine if one of Larry's opponents did that! Why, he'd file a lawsuit for judge shopping!

Howlin, even in this most latest "most serious" of all threats to Judicial Watch's survival, Larry just can't help not overgorging the mailing with marketing "pizzaz".

It came in a faux special delivery envelope sporting vague USPS priority colors (orange, white, blue) it said it was a "USAD OVERNITE LETTER" .... timed in on 4/22 at 10:00, so "USAD" should really revisit their overnight (I mean overnite) letter logistics operations. It's one of those decoy layouts designed to elicit a "Must open. Must open. Might be money from a dead relative." robotic response.

The letter is 4 pages long, both sides, detailing all the good stuff JW has done (and they've done some good), the crushing forces of evil bearing down on them, and the urgent need to hire more attorneys to defend against the onslaught. Hiring more attorneys has pretty much been the overriding need of JW in every solicitation I've received in the last four years. I wonder how many attorneys JW has on staff or is contracting right now? I'll bet it is hundreds. So, it is the same old same old. Larry's recounting of JW's litigating history is what passes for "Educational Outreach Programs" I am sure, and it's just the same stuff that persuaded me to end my support back in 2000.

I did like it, however, when Larry sends me a letter with a dollar bill enclosed. I'd hold it up, snap it tautly by pulling from both ends , put it my pocket, and I'd say "Thanks Larry, you da man!". He doesn't do that very often anymore, not with those who haven't "paid da man" in the past year or two.
