I wonder why Paul disn't take the deal reportedly offered by the government? He -- or rather his attorney Larry Klaymann and Judicial Watch -- has already publicly admitted to a crime.

Maybe the terms of the deal weren't satisfactory in that he thought that the "goods" he had on the Clintons should warrant a lighter punishment than what he was being offered.

I am sure that there are completely logical reasons why, some of the suggestions you have made do make sense. Either way, we will probably find out sometime soon.
