You're welcome - the AeroCommander twin is not THAT big of an airplane. It's bigger than your everyday Cessna 172, but it's not airline-size. There are single engine planes about this size or even slightly bigger (just by eyeballing it - don't have the stats), such as the (very nice) Swiss Pilatus PC-12.
I personally know pilots of that vintage who fly stuff in the Confederate Air Force that is a LOT bigger than this plane. It's all their health, not the age. I know 45 year olds that I'd never fly with because of how poorly they take care of themselves.

Bob Hoover flew the Aero Commander in airshows until he was so old that the FAA bigwigs started loosing their teeth over it. They downed the guy once because they thought he was 'wobbling' as he walked -- This was after he had piloted the twin-engine plane through one of the most impressive routines in the airshow program, capped with a power-off loop, landing, and rollout . . .
