Reports are now that it may have been a Rockwell Commander.

Also on MSNBC the pilot is reported to be a well known person of age 60 to 65 years old. (It appears he had a lot of experience.)

Two points. The man who flew the plane into the building might not have been the person whom the paperwork said would fly the aircraft that day. Or there might have another person aboard.

It is too early for speculation concerning the pilot. The circumstances of impact are very suspicious.

For those of us stuck at work, how do they know exactly WHO was flying the plane? Obviously, there was a registered pilot who identified himself as the 65-year-old, but how do they know that was who was manning the controls?

Very unlikely this was an accident.

Thanks.
