The B-52 in 1946 that crashed into the Empire State building, for one. Close, but no cigar. I'm not sure on the year, but it definitely wasn't a B-52. They didn't come out until the mid-late 1950s.
It was a B-25 though.....
And it was on a very foggy day. Very limited visability, not like today's "accident".
