No one has mentioned the possibility yet that the manifested 70 year old Swiss pilot was not at the controls for the crash.

If (all speculation here) he was going up for a scheduled solo flight, it would be easy for a ground crew/terrorist to hide in the plane and take it over in the air. That would also explain the 6pm strike: the schedule was a matter of opportunism in this (speculative) scenario.

right. and i remember working with this young student from bosnia; summer of '99. she was temping along with me. she was a muslim and she was the blondest, blue-eyed person ever. she had an absolute HATRED for the usa. nothing but diatribes all day long. she was in the country on a student visa. it kind of gave me the creeps to be working with this young person who despised america so, yet took advantage of the educational system here.
