About ten years ago I met a Professor of Ancient history
from a universitity in greece, I believe it was thesaloniki.
Its a city in northern greece.
We talked about how the modern world changes how it looks at
anceient history to gloriy itself.
One of the items he ridiculed was the recent notion that
alexander the great was a homosexual.
He told me he taught his students Alexander was not homosexual.
It was an american creation about ancient history.
