It would also make it illegal to leave a camera running to catch your baby sitter brutally slapping your 3-year old while you are out celebrating your anniversary.

I question this although she could try to make a case that you had installed the camera to ogle her.

It would also make it illegal for the local Quick-E Mart to place a surveillance camera to film a thug shooting 9mm slugs into your teenager as she works part-time as a cashier.

I disagree because of the nature of the videotaping. Also the store could post a notice that "you are being watched and recorded by surveillance camera", implying consent from anyone that enters.

How many phone calls to customer lines now play a message "this call may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance" nowadays?

Don't be so sure that the hotel handyman hasn't already installed his own cameras in the room (there have actually been reports on some observation points that had been made in some rooms using the mirrors; new wireless technology doesn't even require that).

What part of the constitution covers this?

The same part of the constitution that says you're an expert if you play a part in a made for TV movie....

But I guess they're no more idiots than some of the "experts" I see testify.

"If a camera were hidden in your house by someone outside of your house, would you not be able to prosecute for illegal entry?"

Would think that would be the case; whether this was sold for profit, shown or not shown; seems like a common moral sense; where our legal system used to begin.

The articles I've seen on this bill do not mention this but I don't know if it is also intended to ease prosecution of people (say in college) who set up a hidden camera to catch video of them having sex with another person (unknown to that person). There have been lawsuits in cases regarding this.

If people were more careful about who they partner up with, they may not have this problem.

Web sites containing pornography, hate speech or other material deemed harmful to minors

Red flag! Warning! Alert!

Liberal code words in use!

"Hate speech" is a code word liberals use to describe conservative speech. In the near future, prepare to visit Freerepublic.prn.
