Identification of missing Kosovo Serbs under way

Kursumlija: Relatives of kidnapped and missing Serbs in Kosovo have so far identified personal belongings found with 17 bodies exhumed in Kosovo.

The identification process of belongings and clothing found with 350 bodies exhumed in Kosovo began yesterday in Kursumlija. The process, organized by the Belgrade authorities in cooperation with UNMIK [UN Mission in Kosovo], is expected to continue in this location until 16 April. A police cordon prevented journalists from entering the tents where the identification process was under way, despite requests from the families that they be allowed in.
