People need to quite hyperventilating.

The only people that are hyperventilating are those who claim this decision legalizes child pornography or will now protect it on technicalities. The only thing thos does is protect innocent parties whom the law could have been used against even if no children ever had sex in the movies or pictures or writings. Im not sure why this is so hard to grasp.

Hey, I'm on your side. The hyperventilators need to read up just a little bit (or a lot) and look at more than a paragraph of the opinion or the title of this thread.

Because it is slippery, foul, and false. This decision will open the floodgates of kiddie porn. Pedophiles acorss this land are cheering. Only an idiot would fail to understand that.

pedophiles have been in society as long as gays and lesbians. the way is being paved for them to come out of the closet like the gays did. and they will,its only a matter of time. eventually we will start to see more shows and films depicting deep relationships between adults and children. this is coming soon. there are already underground books and movies on the issue.

several things bother me about the current witch hunt regarding pedophiles. first,if they are sick then they should be sent to a mental hospital. we already know that sending someone to prison does not "cure" them. it only makes them bitter and more likely to commit a crime when they get out. so why are dozens of new prisons being built each year? because its good for the election and its also a big business now.
second,with the way that the media handles everything,you are convicted of a crime long before you actually sit before a jury. once you are accused of something it sticks,even if you are not convicted. MJ was labled a pedophile long before he settled,and as far as the people are concerned he is guilty,even if it was an attempt to extort money from a rich man. people will watch him and others like him for the rest of their lives,even though they may not deserve it.
lastly,im sick and tired of the rich and powerful acting all high and mighty like their **** doesnt stink. they commit more high crimes on a daily basis then anyone in prison. they get by with it and you never hear about the true story because they can buy their way our,or intimidate people. if a senator for example likes lookin at pictures of little kiddies its no big deal,even if he is caught. he buys his way out and thats all you hear....slap on the wrist. if i was caught with kiddie porn i would go to jail and then be an outcast for the rest of my life when i got out. see the difference? we need to stop pretending that this is not going on and face it. either it is wrong or not,quit dancing around the issues. the same rules should apply to everyone,but we know that wont happen anytime soon. so,if you have connections and money,feel free to snort that coke,have sex with young female hookers and eliminate your competition in whatever manner it takes. you only have to be a good boy if you are working class or lower. praise America! land of the free and...(equal?)
