You’re mistaken in referring to our form of government as a democracy. It is a REPUBLIC; there’s a vast difference in how our rights and IF our rights are respected. Our country is being run as if it’s a democracy and that’s one of the reasons we are in such trouble. Unfortunately, our public fool system has “taught” everyone that it is a democracy for many years now and it seems to be generally accepted as fact. Even the pledge of allegiance refers to our government as a republic.
