I sent a brief thank you last night to the Des Plaines City Council...and received this short note...Mr. Sayad is a genuine individual. He took time out to reply to a note from someone without any influence in his district or even his state...truely genuine.

There was one guy who braved the firestorm and agreed with the dubious alderman in question. I had to admire his guts, even though he was rather misguided. Don's comment about the decision being different if the Council was staffed by 14 and 15 year-olds was pure gold, though. Gave me quite a chuckle.
