Yes, King Solomon was both a Hebrew and an Israelite.

Thanks for your patience with me. Are not Hebrews, Jews, and Israelites (geographics and kingdoms aside) one and the same people? The same people referred to in the Bible as G-d's chosen?

Jews are certainly Israelites and Hebrews, Yes. But not all Hebrews are Israelites, and not all Israelites are Jews.

Therefore, the "chosen" people of God are Israelites. Since Jews are Israelites they qualify. So do all the other Israelites, which far outnumber the Jews. Therefore the claimed Jewish exclusivity which is the source of so much gastric acidity is not really so exclusive after all, and certainly not worth generating so much hatred over.
