Everyone, your prayers carried the day. My mother went back to the hospital (after a lot of resistance) and got a new anti-biotic for her pneumonia. She's mending but it's very slow. She starts to feel better and compulsively starts on household chores, then gets exhausted just climbing stairs.

I'm afraid she might be putting me on, a little, because when I call she answers the phone rather quietly , and then gets perky and tells me how good she feels. Last weekend, twice, I had to call several family members to get them to join me in bullying her to go to the emergency room ("oh, it's just a cold, or allergies")

Still, I am pretty sure that she will be all right. We all understand that it will be weeks before she is feeling 100% but that means she will be enjoying a few mystery novels, and her beau will be waiting on her hand and foot. (My dad became dad-gone 10 years ago. Mom's living in sin, half the week but I'm glad she has a beau.)

Ha, I'm talking too much. Anyway, bless you all for praying for us. I was pretty hysterical when I posted this last week. I'm always upset about something...but this really scared me. I've been with Free Republic long enough to know I can reach out to good people here. You imaginary people are not so imaginary anymore. God bless you all , in the name of the lord, Jesus Christ.
