Glad you feel better. My mom-in-law is a former posting lady for her church, 80 years old, wheelchair-bound, and completely dependent. I just loved seeing tears in her eyes on Easter Sunday when that loudmouthed ignoramus gave his pronouncements about how the Church should be "fixed" to suit him.
There's just something about seeing a helpless old woman beg the man on the TV screen "not to do that today..not today..."
I'm sure there's a transcript somewhere; Rooney's probably very proud of that piece.
Yep...and he probably hopes he gets a train load of critical emails. That way, he can prove to the network that people really DO watch him...and he can keep his job.
Without adverse feedback he wouldn't last.....60 minutes. LOL
I was invited to friends' home for Easter, and the father is a retired Pastor, 99 years young! He is a very conservative elder gentleman, but has faithfully watched 60 Min. for years. I don't know why. His daughter and her husband are also conservative Republicans, and I guess they are just in a rut. If it's 60 Mins. it must be Sunday.
So sad that decent people can be brainwashed like that!!
g
I am sad about her Easter experience.
May God's blessings be heaped upon you both.
Love and Fellowship
