The abuse the media is covering up is occurring in government schools. NYC has one case, on average, everyday. Click on my screen name for over 100 incidents posted on Free Republic recently. Few of them made national news and nobody has reported the obvious pattern.

OH so.. you are saying because OTHERS have molested kids.. then it gives a pass to the Church? The main problem with your logic here is that what others do does not negate the fault of the Church and does not reveal any agenda by the media. The Church should be held to a higher standard.

You're right about the teachers. In this city I live near, there have been many more incidents of teachers fondling the kids than priests. And again ---it's more often homosexuals who are doing it. We need to punish homosexual predators very harshly whether they are priests, teachers, neighbors, or relatives. They cannot be around children ever.
