There is no such thing as "friendly" fire. There is accurate and most accurate.

No. No. No.
Think carefully. Did a US A-10 intend to detroy a British Armoured personell carrier? I don't think so. However, teh fire was accurate.
Friendly fire is an attack on your own forces or that of your allies. The accuracy is irrelevent.

One of the largest slaughters from a friednly fire incident occured during the Allied break out out of Normandy. The US Army commanders tried to use Heavy bombers attacking form 20,000 feet as tactical bombers to take out a dug in SS division. At first it worked untill the wind changed and the bombers dropped their weapons too early. This lead to hundreds of American deaths including that of a General. I believe that the operation was called Goodwin. This was a friednly fire incident whose cause was bad planning. The bobmbers accurately huit forces. Unfortunately they hit both American and German forces.

On December 7th, shortly after teh Japanses attack, Army Bombers tried to land at local bases. Many were shot down by American gunners. Accuracy was not the issue. Bad intelligence and over anxious unites were the cause.

Just have teh intellectual honesty to admitt that this could have been a mistakle and stop trying to rewrite the English language for your ideas.
